This is a 31 jeweled automatic watch from the Russian Vostok (east) company. It has a chrome plated case that measures 53 mm lug to lug, the time keeping is about + 15 seconds a day.

I have a strange fondness for this watch, it’s a shame it’s not available with a stainless steel case.

I’m happy to see that Vostok is begining to make more watches that don’t have a “military” picture dial on them. This can help to broaden its customer base.
