This is a one jewel pin pallet watch of the type that was available in the 1970’s. It was sent to me by my friend Paul Groom, fellow member of the RLT watch forum.

The watch has been re-cased and the crystal changed for one in better condition, the parts being donated from two similar watches that were no longer working.

Although the movement works it needs to be regulated as it is running a couple of minutes slow.

It’s not often you find a watch with your name on the dial, it’s also good to find one of the old pin pallet watches in working condition as so many have been thrown away because they have little monetary value.
