Oris 17 jeweled

This is a small Oris manual wind that appears to be a reproduction of an earlier design, I suspect it was made in the 1980’s.

The caliber is a 17 jeweled Oris 715 housed in a 33 mm chrome plated case. The hands and numerals have tritium luminous treatment that is almost inactive now, indicating that the watch is certainly more than thirteen years old.

I have little information on the Cal 715 fitted as it has 17 jewels and the original Cal 715 appears to have been a 7 jeweled movement, perhaps the movement in this watch is an “up jeweled” re-edition of the original Cal 715?
